Ok now I have seen these reviews and I would like to comment. I moved here when that David was maintenance and well, I agree He was a JOKE ... manicures in the Office and He was maintenance but he ALWAYS had his nose in everything . The Ladies at the Office now, well you can tell that they are friends and in the work place that is GREAT . They do their job to the Best and are friendly with everyone (No matter how rude we sometimes are) But I do believe that the kids need more to do. They are no longer allowed to ride skateboards in Kingspark. The Center is closed more than it is open . We have one of those keycards for the center but the kids use to go there and have friends and things to do.(When Miss Kenette was there) They had and have a friend in her she is STILL there if the kids need her. And that I give my full RESPECT to her , she proved that it isn't just a job to her . SHE cares . Now for that NEW sales gal well she could use some lessons on manners herself . But she is there to sell homes(Thats what she tells ya) well Keep it up Gals and Guys of Kingspark. I for one AM PROUD TO LIVE HERE

I really am confused ...Is there another Kingspark located around Peoria? I have lived in Kingspark located off of Farmington Road ,for over a year now and from what I have seen, I think this place is really cleaning up ...The Staff is friendly and helpful and ALWAYS there to help. The Maintenance guys are awesome, they are friendly and Polite and eager to help... I would really recommend this place to anyone

I think the people before complaining about Kingspark must be in the wrong place. I recently moved here with my family, and I am so glad we did!!! The STAFF is extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome to the Community ....

Really??? Are you sure you have the right place? I mean I have lived here for over 10 years and I have seen the MAJOR IMPROVEMENT in this place...They have and are tearing down the old empty run down homes and making this a place to raise a family.... A place to be proud of...The Office ladies have always treated me with respect and are very friendly.I say GOOD JOB GALS... the one gal that use to work at the Clubhouse , always greets you as you walk in and is eager to help you in any way .... I would definetly refer any family or friend to come see the improvements...You would be surprised......

I don't know where the other reviewers have lived, but we love KP. They have a great pool, they have a babaysitter in the community room to mind my 8 year old (free!), and the neighbors are great. I know it used to be pretty rough, but its gone through some huge changes. We really like it.

Talk about people with NO LIFE ...I have lived here in Kingspark for many years and I have seen managers come and go..but this Megan lady that runs it now is DOING a GREAT JOB and cleaning up the place . As far as Maintenance , well they have a good crew now ( That they got rid of that David character) he was a JOKE... The girl that was at the Center and now at the Office. Well Congrats on the promotion She was there to help with my daughter last week..HER nose protected her from HARM> and I am thankful for HER NOSE

i was seriously thinking about moving here this summer . i live in the south end and am looking for a better school district....but after reading the revues im having second thoughts ...thank you for helping me make what sounds like a great choice...not to move there lol

My mom has been there for 20 yrs and I have friends that have been out there that long and it has changed for the worse. The maintence crew suck Meagen the Magnager is horrible learm how to do yoor job!!! The Owners Mike and Kevin or the ones that manage the properties are nothing but a joke. The water is always off, and teh lady that use to work at the community center and is now in the office OMG she is a nosey lady and a likes to gossip they tell everyones buisness in there how professional is that and the way the ladies talk in there I cant believe they have a job!!!! DO NOT BUY OR RENT FROM HERE YOUR LIFE WILL BE A LIVING HELL!!!

This is an absolutely terrible place to live. You will get screwed over in any way possible by this company. There are many health department violations, known drug dealers in the community, bastard kids that like to damage property, cuss people out for no reason,break into empty homes, cut through your yard, and the list goes on. The water is shut off frequently because the pipes here are older than dirt. And not to mention that you are going to pay out the ass for a friggin trailer that will inevitably have a leak or some other damage somewhere in no time at all. All in all, avoid this place!!

One of the worst places to live. Years ago it was a decent place but no more. I do believe they are trying to run out the current tenants but I'm not sure what they have in mind. Believe me, if I had even just a little bit of money, I'd be gone in a heartbeat! Unfortunately I can't sell my trailer because nobody wants to pay so much for RENT after they OWN something...and the park won't buy it from me. They did, however, very generously offer to "let me sign it over to them"... lol

First of all I have lived here for four years and the lot has jumped over 100 dollars. Maintenance sucks, they will come here and then tell you it's not their problem. I always boil water before use. Yeah and they charge you 20 bucks to mow your grass and they do a horrible job! Also we keep getting a letter to fix this and that each month a new thing like if I had money I would not live in a freakin trailer park. so far we have fixed everything that it says this new one has us with over 800 in repairs! It's like they just add new stuff whenever they want. I'm as poor as the pool I would never swim in it, my nephew caught pseudomonas in their pool which almost melted his eye away, he was 10 months old and he wears a patch and is legally blind in that eye. The health department did test and the bacteria was found in kings park pool. I do not agree with the people who say the ladies at the office are rude they are just doing what they are told to! They are always friendly with me. There are so many more things I hate about this park. Soon everyone will move out I think they are trying to make it a retirement community, but I own my home just back the freak off!

The manager, Cortland is very RUDE and LIES! She tries to act like she owns and runs the whole place. Hopefully, there is a board or boss somewhere that checks in on things once in a while. No wonder mobile home parks get stereo typed as trailer trash.

Amen to that! Kingspark sucks! I am currently looking to move after being promised for 2 years that I was getting my central air unit. When we signed the contract for our brand new mobile home in 2007, I was told that it would have central air, but when we moved in after the contract was already signed, we discovered that it did not have central air. I had to go through a pregnancy with no air, and are still waiting 2 years later for the unit we were supposed to already have, not to mention that the pool is closed all the time, the water is shut off all the time, and the quality of the so called "new homes" are terrible. I have had mine 2 years, and it is already falling apart. I do not recomend that anyone move here.

This place is terrible and I cannot wait to get out of here! there is almost always very nasty newsletters, boil orders, knit-picking and very unfriendly/unhelpful staff that don't even follow their own rules (and you will get very unfair treatment if you say anything about it!), very few decent kids live around here, lots of run-down trailers that should be taken out and the new trailers are very poor quality, very small lots. I would recommend NOT paying to get a keycard for the community center as the pool is never open/working, the bathrooms are disgusting and they few games/vending machines rip you off. lot rent could/probably will go up for no apparent reason. there are so many more reasons, really, move anwhere BUT here! this is a terrible place to live and i would never recommend it to anyone.

They are horrible at taking care of their tenents needs and will not give you any contact info if you are financing through them for their corporate office to obtain you title. Really bad Customer Service.
